Jens Schneider is a PhD candidate in occupational therapy and occupational science at the University of Brighton (UK). Before he started his doctoral study, he did his professional education as an occupational therapist in Germany, his bachelor study in occupational therapy in the Netherlands and the European Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Jens has worked in different fields and settings as an occupational therapist and as a lecturer in bachelor programmes for occupational therapy in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands as well as in a master programme in the field of evidence-based health care in Germany. His research interests are on sexual and gender diversity seen from an occupational perspective. He co-founded and still co-coordinate the international and German speaking networks on Sexualities and Genders within Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science (SexGen-OTOS and SexGen-OTOS-German).
