Dr. Carmencita D. Padilla is a multi-awarded pediatrician and geneticist. She is an Academician of the National Academy for Science and Technology (NAST); a Professor 12 at the UP College of Medicine; and, a University Scientist 3 of the University of the Philippines System. She is now serving her third term as Chancellor of UP Manila. Dr. Padilla is the 9th, 10th and 11th Chancellor of the University.
