Mary Dorothy dL. Jose is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, University of the Philippines Manila and current Convenor of the Manila Studies Program and Coordinator of the CAS-Office of the Gender Program. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in History, Master’s Degree in Asian Studies, and PhD in Philippine Studies from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She is a recipient of the 2019-2021 One UP Faculty Grant Award in Women Studies for Outstanding Research and Public Service in UP Manila.
